I understand you don't know, but before you go on comparing anything to a go-kart you need to understand what these things are capable of. Just for the 125cc shifter that I had 2 years ago (Raced spec125, SKUSA (Shifter Kart Assoc of America, and WKA World Karting Assoc.) HP:WT ratio of a Viper, 300lbs (including driver & fuel) The motor siezed at around 160 on the front straight at Road America in 6th gear. (they are capable of 160+) the only things that can beat it around a road course are 250cc shifter/sprint karts, MotoGP bikes, ALMS/LM prototypes, CART and F1 (obviously) Sorry to say it, but unless anyone is planning to drag race one of these little machines, there is no car that would be able to touch a kart like this. This is the front straight at Blackhawk (rockford, IL) I'm somewhere in the back.
Here's turn 3 at Grattan (not me)
